And to start off with my latest discovery…

Extreme Picture Finder*

Don’t be mislead by the name, this program doesn’t just search for pictures but in fact for all sorts of media files like video, music, photo’s, you name it. Normally this takes up a lot of your precious time and that is precisely where this program takes a lot of work out of your hands. With a few clicks you set up a search and put Extreme Picture Finder to work

The program is as fast as lightning and downloads thousands of files in a jiffy. Fortunately there are a lot of options to adjust for the search because chances are you find yourself in need of a larger hard disk sooner than you expected. For instance, you can search on one particular

website or via an external search engine, the possibilities are numerous, you just have to try it with the download of the free evaluation version. Have fun!

By the way, Extreme Picture Finder can be updated (for free) with a number of language modules so you van work with the program in your own language (use the “more info” button to learn more about the program and for a look at all the different language plug-ins)

Just too bad that there wasn’t a Dutch plug-in available yet

I deliberately say wasn’t, because UncleTon wouldn’t be UncleTon if he wasn’t able to do something about that, contacted the makers and…. To make a story short, in cooperation with Extreme Picture Finder UncleTon has written a Dutch plug-in and the beta version is available right here for downloading. And at last… you really can go Dutch

Because this is a beta version for release 3.3.1 be sure to let me know about any bugs, what you think about the translation; if it is clear enough, readable, etc.

All remarks are most welcome and will be adapted into the next version

And here are some programs of Fresh Devices I have in use on a daily basis

Fresh Download*

Fresh download is a so-called download-accelerator (with some useful extra functions).

Once installed you’ll never go without it (at least, I won’t). The program makes downloading

files many times faster than the one you are currently using and most important of all,

you can easily continue from the point your download was broken instead of start the whole download from the beginning again

The program is offered for free from Fresh Devices and comes with an uninstaller, so no objections to try this one extensively. Click the link, save the program to any place on your hard drive and run it from there to install it as easy as can be on your computer. Have fun with it.

Fresh View*

Fresh View comes from the same company and can also be very addictive.

The program was meant to view pictures (and more), but you can also manipulate them, make

slide shows or internet pages, in short, you just have to give this one a try.

This is a free program also. Download it by clicking the link, save it anywhere on your

hard drive and run it from there to install.

The rest is a piece of cake, even if you’d want to uninstall it.

Fresh FTP*

Fresh FTP is a very useful tool when you, as I do, manage web sites and therefore often up and download much files

In explorer windows you can select the files you want to up or download, choose your connections, monitor the process, its shows you the problems, if there are any, etc. The program works very intuitive and is easy to operate.

All FRESH programs need to be registered and you will be sent an email

containing a list with registration codes for all programs. Registering is free.

Now you will receive an email every time an update for one of their programs has been released

And another one I use all the time

Total Commander*

Total Commander is a file manager you cannot do without, at least, I can’t.

The program looks a lot like the old Norton Commander (remember DOS and NC version 4?, I do, maybe I’ll find it somewhere in my archives and upload it sometime) and works quite the same.

Total Commander comes with a lot of extras, too much to sum them all up here,

just download and run it in your own language, including English.

You’ll never go without it anymore.
